i am denise nicole.
It all started back in high school. 19 years ago! I took a photography class for the heck of it because well honestly I didn't look good in a leotard so I dumped my dance class for THAT exact reason. Once my finger touched the shutter button I was instantly hooked. Did it as a hobby for many years. Never dreamed of doing it for a living. I mean, how many people actually have a job they love??!! A great friend of mine asked me to photograph for her local Wedding Magazine so I bought a fancy smancy camera and never looked back. I am a self-taught photographer. I practiced every single day on everything and anything that stepped in my way! And I still do. Practice. Every. Single. Day. With the HUGE support of my boyfriend and my #1 believer I am able to do photography full time. I am able to create amazing images for my clients with all this passion I have inside of my heart and I couldn't think of anything in this world that I would love to do more. A little bit about me: I love lemons, green chile chicken enchiladas and my gorgeous blue eyed Siberian Husky! When I am not working you will find me curled up on a couch drinking a hot cup of Chai Tea and reading a romance novel (Team Edward of course) and peeking through a magazine (Vogue or Anthropologie) the place I find my inspiration. I love to laugh obnoxiously loud and when I get excited I talk a lot. A LOT! I wear my heart on my sleeve. I have two amazing children and a boyfriend who deals with it all! What can I say? I am one lucky girl! I love love and everything about it. My camera is an extension of my heart and my soul and I love catching the in between moments.
